Hello NYLAX Nation!!

First order of business, our Learn To Play event is cancelled for tonight.  This is for two reasons, first, we are short on coaches for tonight.  With all of our coaches being volunteers sometimes other commitments pull them away.  The second is the weather we are expecting for tonight.  By 4pm it will start raining and by 6pm that will freeze and start turning over to sleet and snow which will continue through much of the night and into tomorrow.

So, no LTP tonight and if you don't need to be out after 6pm tonight stay home and stay safe.

As of today we are at 72 registrations which is not a bad spot for this time of year.  Our goal for the club this year is 130 so we have a long way to go!  Talk to teammates, classmates, neighbors, friends, or anyone who has ever said they might like to play lacrosse.  You've heard me say it (type it) a million times, new players are the life blood of our club!!  

NOW IS THE TIME TO RECRUIT!!

Last order of business for today, the board is working on a call out meeting in the coming week or two.  Plan for the call-out is to get any and all interested players and families out in one place so we can answer any and all questions they may have about NYLAX.  Second plan for call-out is to have uniforms there to try on so new players or returning players ordering new uniforms will be able to try them on and insure the proper fit.  More details to come on the call-out so stay tuned.
