Are you ready for some lacrosse!

Thank you for your interest in Noblesville Youth Lacrosse! We’re excited about your child joining us to learn more about lacrosse.

At Noblesville Youth Lacrosse, we understand that not everyone is familiar with the sport, which is why we host “Learn to Play” events throughout the year. For these events, it’s important to arrive in athletic shorts, T-shirt and athletic shoes, and be ready for some physical activity. Our focus will be on passing / catching and introducing other basic skills. These sessions are completely free. We will have gear on-hand for athletes to borrow; however, if you have a stick, please do bring it. This will help ensure more on-field practice time for every participant. Also, we understand that a 90-minute Learn to Play session can be intimidating to younger kids, so we encourage anyone who is interested to stop by, even for 20 – 30 minutes.

We also think it’s important for both parents and athletes to understand our coaching philosophy:

  1. We are focused on teaching kids the fundamentals of the game in a relaxed, fun and encouraging environment. Some practices and games will be tough; however, we measure success not by the wins and losses, but by how many athletes return the next year.
  2. Character matters. We emphasize the importance of strong work ethic, integrity, and demonstrating good sportsmanship.
  3. We are a volunteer organization, meaning everyone from the coaches to the board members are volunteers. We do this to keep our programs affordable for everyone, but it also means we’re always looking for help. So if you want to learn the game along with your child, please let us know.

We have secured space indoors at Noblesville High School in the Auxiliary Gym. Learn to plays will take place Wednesday's from 7:30pm-8:45pm. Please check the calendar often as time and location can change based on the schools needs. If you’re interested in learning more about our program and receiving notifications please join our email list located on the home page of our website.

We look forward to meeting you and introducing your athletes to the sport of lacrosse.
